Adults

Adulthood often carries many long-held threads, stories shaped by relationships, responsibilities, losses, and experiences that may have been carried quietly for years. Some threads feel steady. Others feel frayed, tangled, or worn thin over time. It’s not uncommon to arrive in counseling feeling confused, exhausted, or unsure of how to move forward.

In my office, you’ll find a warm, personable space where you lead the work and set the pace. Together, we approach your experiences with curiosity rather than judgment, asking not “What’s wrong with you?” but “What happened to you?” (a nod to Bruce Perry). Our work often includes strengthening confidence and self-worth, tending to emotional wounds, and helping you find greater peace within yourself.

Pre-teens, teens & young adults (ages 12 to college)

The pre-teen, teen, and college years are a time when many new threads are being formed. Identity, independence, relationships, and self-worth are all taking shape at once. Some threads feel exciting and full of possibility. Others feel tangled, stretched, or fragile.

I’m especially passionate about walking alongside young people during these formative years, helping them gently navigate the balance between growing independence and staying connected. Together, we focus on strengthening coping skills, tending to self-image, and building self-esteem.

What working together looks like

No matter where you are in your journey, counseling can be a place to gather the scattered threads of your story and begin weaving them together with care, clarity, and intention.
