I work with adults and with pre-teens, teens, and young adults, from around age 12 through the college years. Whether you’re seeking support for yourself or your child, I’ll meet you where you are.
-
I support people through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, divorce, relationship and family challenges, parenting support, ADHD, mood and personality disorders, self-worth, self-harm, and suicidal ideation. If you’re unsure whether your situation fits, reach out and ask.

I also offer parent and guardian consultations to provide support, education, and practical strategies that help reinforce progress outside of sessions. By working together as a team, we can build consistency between home and therapy while keeping your child's unique needs and goals at the center of care.
-
No. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I provide talk therapy, not medication. If medication might help as part of your care, I’m glad to talk it through and coordinate with your doctor or a prescriber.
-
I bill Medicare, Medicaid, UnitedHealthcare, and Aetna directly. I don't bill most other plans directly, but if your insurance includes out-of-network mental health benefits, I can give you a superbill (an itemized receipt) to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. You'll find the full details on the Insurance and Fees page.
-
Individual counseling sessions are $95 for a 50-minute session. You're welcome to use HSA or FSA funds, and if cost is a barrier, please reach out so we can talk through your options. You'll find the full breakdown on the Insurance and Fees page.
-
Please give me at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel. No-shows and cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance are charged a $50 fee.

Fill out the contact form or call/text at (605) 501-6681, and share a little about what’s bringing you in and the insurance you plan to use. I’ll reach out to answer questions and set up your first appointment. A first hello is enough to begin.
-
Your first appointment is a relaxed intake session where we get to know each other. I’ll ask about what’s bringing you in and a bit of your history, and you share only what you’re ready to. You may even be greeted by Teddy, my therapy dog.
-
There’s no set timeline, because every person and story is different. Some people come for a few focused sessions, while others stay longer for deeper work. I’ll check in along the way, and we’ll decide together what pace and length feel right.
If you’re experiencing a mental health emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. You can also call or text 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. My contact form is not monitored in real time, so please don’t use it for urgent needs.
